Dr. G. Papanna is an experienced Geologist with over 15 years of experience in the fields of Paleomagnetism, Magnetostratigraphy, Rock Magnetism, and Anisotropy of Magnetic Susceptibility (AMS). He obtained his Ph.D. in Geology from Osmania University in collaboration with CSIR–National Geophysical Research Institute (NGRI), Hyderabad, with research focused on the Magnetostratigraphy of the Ariyalur Group, Cauvery Basin, Tamil Nadu.
He has also completed Post-Doctoral research on Paleomagnetism and AMS studies of dyke rocks in the Warangal region, Telangana. Dr. Papanna has published several research papers in reputed national and international journals and has authored a book on AMS studies of the Ariyalur Group. He has served in various academic and research positions including Research Assistant, Project Assistant-II, UGC-JRF, Post-Doctoral Fellow, Lecturer, and Vice Principal.
He has actively participated in national and international seminars and workshops and is a Life Member of the Indian Geophysical Union. His expertise includes field geology, paleomagnetic sampling, magnetic laboratory analysis, basin evolution studies, and tectonic interpretations related to the Indian subcontinent.
Dr. Narshimha Chinthapally is an accomplished Igneous Petrologist and Geochemist currently serving as an ANRF–National Post-Doctoral Fellow at Kumaun University, Nainital. He obtained his Ph.D. in Geochemistry from Osmania University (2018), with research focused on the Punugodu granite pluton, Eastern Dharwar Craton, India.
He has extensive research experience as a UGC-Dr. D.S. Kothari Postdoctoral Fellow, Senior Research Fellow, Junior Research Fellow, and Part-Time Lecturer. His expertise includes igneous petrology, granite petrogenesis, magma mixing and mingling processes, zircon U–Pb geochronology, mineral chemistry, and crust–mantle interaction studies.
Dr. Narshimha has published multiple research papers in reputed SCI journals such as Geological Magazine, Acta Geochimica, Journal of the Geological Society of India, and Journal of Earth System Science. He is a Fellow of the Geological Society of India and a Life Member of ISCA and ISAG. He has presented his research at prestigious international conferences including the International Geological Congress and the Hutton Symposium, and has academic exposure in countries such as South Africa, Italy, Switzerland, and South Kore.
Dr. Arumugam is an experienced Hydrogeologist with strong expertise in groundwater exploration, aquifer characterization, and hydrogeological investigations. He specializes in groundwater resource assessment, well design and supervision, pumping test analysis, recharge studies, and sustainable water management planning. With a solid background in subsurface geology and hydrological modeling, he provides technical guidance for water resource development, environmental impact assessment, and infrastructure projects. His analytical approach and field-based experience support data-driven decision-making for sustainable groundwater management
Mr. Arumugam Kathirvel is an experienced Marine Geologist specializing in seabed geomorphology, coastal and offshore sediment dynamics, and marine geological investigations. His expertise includes bathymetric interpretation, sediment sampling and analysis, marine geophysical surveys, and coastal process studies. He contributes to offshore resource assessment, coastal infrastructure planning, marine spatial analysis, and environmental impact evaluations. With strong field-based and analytical capabilities, Dr. Arumugam provides data-driven insights to support sustainable marine development and ocean resource management initiatives.
Jngalo Lumande Galo is a dedicated Exploration Geologist with practical experience in mineral exploration, geological mapping, and field-based resource evaluation. He specializes in prospect identification, lithological and structural mapping, sampling supervision, and ground-truth validation to support drilling and exploration programs. With a strong understanding of ore-forming processes and field investigation techniques, he contributes to efficient target generation, geological data interpretation, and exploration project coordination. His hands-on approach and field expertise strengthen resource assessment and support data-driven exploration strategies
